Meet Ali
Ali Hussainy often begins work before traditional roles are defined, building out visual worlds, character frameworks, and narrative context that inform how a project takes shape. Drawing from research, period references, and a deep understanding of image, he develops creative systems that guide everything from story and wardrobe, to overall tone and storytelling.
His work spans long form narrative content, including editorial documentary style filmmaking and episodic unscripted television, including productions across NBC Universal and Sony Pictures Entertainment, as well as special projects with Dua Lipa and behind the scenes content with Doja Cat. He has led creative direction alongside Law Roach, with work spanning Vogue, GQ, Elle, Sony Music, Ariana Grande, and The Met Gala.
